Machine stretch film, on the other hand, is used with stretch wrap machines and is suitable for high-volume applications, offering consistent and efficient wrapping. Pre-stretched film is already stretched during the manufacturing process, reducing the amount of force required during application and providing uniform tension. 

Additionally, there are specialty films like UV-resistant film for outdoor storage and vented stretch film for products that need to breathe, such as fresh produce.
